Benefits - Soothing for acidity, indigestion, pitta-related disorders, dehydration. No artificial colours or flavours.
Directions - Put 4 tsp rose syrup, 5-6 hand- crushed mint leaves and 2 tsp lemon juice in a glass. You can change proportions based on taste. Now add ice cubes and chilled water. Mix and enjoy.
Ingredients - Fresh organic rose petals (desi gulab), beetroot, sulphur-free sugar.
Recipe Ideas - The rose syrup can be added to kheer, phirni, any pudding made of rice, millets or semolina, vanilla ice cream or sweet buttermilk.
Soak 1 tsp chia seeds or sweet basil seeds (sabja seeds) in 1 glass water for 2-3 hours. Add rose syrup to it and drink. This acts as a coolant with additional benefits of seeds.
In the above recipe, the seeds can also be soaked in milk/ coconut milk/ soy milk/ any nut milk instead of water.
